This Coaching Agreement outlines the expectations, responsibilities, and policies related to coaching services provided by JHL Fitness (“Coach,” “we,” or “our”) and the participating client (“Client,” “you,” or “your”).
By purchasing or participating in coaching services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
JHL Fitness provides fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle coaching intended to support general wellness, education, and sustainable habit development.
Current coaching services may include:
Fitness Starter Pack
One-on-One Online Coaching
Services may include:
Personalized workout programming
Exercise modifications
Weekly check-ins
Educational guidance
Lifestyle and habit support
General nutrition guidance
Accountability support
JHL Fitness coaching is intended for educational and wellness purposes only.
Coaching services do not include:
Medical advice
Physical therapy
Rehabilitation services
Injury diagnosis
Mental health counseling
Emergency support
Clients should consult qualified healthcare professionals regarding medical concerns, injuries, or conditions before participating in exercise or nutrition programs.
Clients are responsible for:
Providing accurate information
Communicating openly regarding limitations or concerns
Performing exercises safely
Following recommendations at their own discretion
Maintaining communication during coaching
Results depend heavily on consistency, adherence, recovery, lifestyle, and individual effort.
Primary coaching communication methods may include:
Text messaging
Standard response times are typically within 24–48 business hours. Weekend response times may vary.
JHL Fitness does not provide 24/7 support or emergency communication services.
One-on-one coaching includes weekly check-ins intended to review:
Training progress
Recovery
Nutrition adherence
Scheduling adjustments
Exercise concerns
Exercise substitutions or program adjustments may be made as needed based on:
Equipment access
Injuries or discomfort
Schedule limitations
Client feedback
Training progress
Progressive overload and program progression are adjusted based on individual client performance and consistency.
The Fitness Starter Pack is considered a lower-touch educational and digital coaching product.
Due to the digital nature of the service and immediate access to materials:
Purchases are generally non-refundable once delivered.
Clients may cancel one-on-one coaching services at any time with notice.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing through email or an agreed-upon communication platform.
Coaching fees already paid are generally non-refundable.
Cancellation stops future billing or future coaching periods where applicable.
No refunds will be provided for periods of inactivity or lack of participation.
JHL Fitness will make reasonable efforts to maintain communication and support during coaching.
However, clients remain responsible for participating in:
Check-ins
Communication
Program adherence
Extended inactivity, missed check-ins, or lack of communication do not qualify for refunds.
Clients acknowledge that participation in exercise and lifestyle programs involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
Injury
Illness
Physical discomfort
Health complications
Participation is voluntary and performed at the client’s own risk.
Clients are encouraged to stop exercise immediately and seek medical attention if concerning symptoms occur.
JHL Fitness does not guarantee specific:
Weight loss
Muscle gain
Strength improvements
Body composition changes
Performance outcomes
Individual results vary based on consistency, genetics, recovery, adherence, lifestyle, and other individual factors.
All coaching materials provided by JHL Fitness remain the intellectual property of JHL Fitness, including:
Workout programs
PDFs
Guides
Educational materials
Videos
Written content
Materials may not be copied, redistributed, resold, or shared without written permission.
Coaching materials are intended for individual client use only.
JHL Fitness may request permission to share testimonials, reviews, or progress photos for educational or marketing purposes.
No client information or images will be shared publicly without client permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JHL Fitness shall not be held liable for injuries, damages, losses, or health complications arising from participation in coaching services, exercise programs, or educational materials.
Clients voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
JHL Fitness reserves the right to update or modify coaching policies, services, or procedures as the business evolves.
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, United States.
